Pench National Park is one of thw most easily accessed national park. It is 12 km away from khawasa on NH 7 between Nagpur and Jabalpur. Khawas is 81 km from Nagpur and 193 km from Jabalpur City. The main entrance is from turia gate and the other less used entrance is at karmajhiri.

By Air : The nearest airport from pench is at Nagpur. The distance from Nagour Airport to Pench National Park is 120 km approx. Other nearest airport is at Jabalpur. The Jabalpur airport 200 Km .

By Railways : The nearest rail head is at seoni ( 3o Kms) , however none of the major train hault here. Nagpur two hours from pench by road is the best options from Delhi and Mumbai. Jabalpur which is around a 4 - 5 hours drive by road from Pench is the other largest railhead.

By Road : Pench is situated on the Nagpur - Jabalpur Highway and is easily accessible by local taxis. However, if you take a bus from Nagour , get off at a small town called Khawasa, which is the turning point from the highway for turia ( 13kms ). Suktara is the turning point for karmajhiri ( 30 kms ).

By Local Travel : Visitors ca explore the park in their own cars or jeeps along with a registered guide. Alternately the resort where you are staying can arrange for safari vehicles some of which are specially designed for wildlife sighting. Specially organised nature walks are conducted bu wildlife department guides, from Raiyakassa to karmajhiri. Elephant Rides are available from Alikatta and are an ideal way to experience the Jungle.
